Directions from Glasgow

Take the M74.
     
After roughly half an hour, take the A702 south signposted to Thornhill and   Drumlanrig Castle.

When you reach the T junction leading onto the A76, turn left to Thornhill.

After entering Thornhill continue on past the monument in the centre of the village and Bank House is approx 250 yrds on the right.

Directions from Edinburgh

Take the A702 south from Edinburgh (signposted Biggar & Carlisle) on to the A74 south bound.

Carry on along the A74 for about 5 miles and then take the A702 south signposted Thornhill & Drumlanrig Castle.

When you reach the T junction leading onto the A76, turn left to Thornhill.

After entering Thornhill continue on past the monument in the centre of the village and Bank House is approx 250 yrds on the right.

Directions from Carlisle

Take the M6 North to the town of Gretna Green.

Here turn left on the A75 toward Dumfries / Stranraer.

At the town of Dumfries, take the A76 Kilmarnock.

14 miles North of Dumfries you will enter Thornhill.

Bankhouse is approx 150 yrds on the left.
